Locality: United States, Minnesota, Wabasha, Zumbro Bottoms Forestry Unit. Along the Zumbro River in rugged terrain three miles northeast of Theilman.

Verbatim Elevation: 715 feet
Habitat: Abundant on the lower terrace of a large, multi-tiered sandbar. ~Level setting ~4-6 inches above the present water line, exposed by receding river levels. Co-dominant here with Lindernia dubia. Deep, coarse sand with very small cobbles (pea gravel size). Full sun.
Associated Species: Additional associates include Cyperus squarrosus, C. bipartitus, C odoratus, C. erythrorhizos, C. esculentus, Echinochloa muricata, Eragrostis pectinacea, E. frankii, Panicum capillare, Amaranthus tuberculatus, Persicaria lapathifolia, Mollugo verticillata, Mimulus ringens, Mentha arvensis, Bidens cernua, and seedlings of Salix interior and Acer saccharinum.
