Locality: United States, Minnesota, Wabasha, Zumbro Falls Woods Scientific & Natural Area. Along the Zumbro River in rugged terrain two miles southeast of Zumbro Falls.

Elevation: 245 meters Verbatim Elevation: 805 feet

Habitat: Common on a large (~1/2-acre) sand/gravel bar. ~Level setting ~3-8 inches above the present water line, exposed in the past few weeks by receding river levels. Moist sand (on the downstream end of the bar and with a cap of small, rounded cobbles on upstream end). Co-dominant here with Eragrostis hypnoides. Mostly full sun. Prostrate growth form.

Associated Taxa: Additional associates include Eragrostis pectinacea, Amaranthus tuberculatus, Chenopodium glaucum, Potentilla norvegica, Cyperus squarrosus, Mimulus ringens, Persicaria hydropiper, P. lapathifolia, Myosoton aquaticum, Artemisia biennis, Bidens cernua, Pilea pumila, Salix interior.
