Local in a small backwater / overflow channel connected to the creek, on the cleared and heavily grazed narrow valley bottomland between steep, 300-foot bluffs. Forming dense patches in shallow water. Rocky substrate; rooting in silt amongst numerous dolomite stones. Full sun. Yellow flowers.
