Locality: United States, Minnesota, Fillmore, Along the south fork of Diamond Creek, in rugged terrain 3.5 miles southeast of Whalan, 5.5 miles east of Lanesboro.

Verbatim Elevation: 940 feet
Habitat: Rare and local at the base of a steep, 180-foot, east-facing bluff, near the mouth of a large tributary ravine. Mesic hardwood forest recovering from past grazing. Canopy of immature Acer saccharum, with occasional Prunus serotina, Juniperus virginiana, Ulmus americana, and Betula papyrifera. Moderately steep slope toe. Rocky silt with numerous earthworms.
Associated Species: Additional associates include Carex blanda, C. hirtifolia, C. laxiculmis, Adiantum pedatum, Cystopteris bulbifera, Sanicula gregaria, Circaea lutetiana, Geum canadense, Ranunculus abortivus, Osmorhiza longistylis, Ribes missouriense.
