Locality: United States, Minnesota, Winona, Rugged terrain along Rush Creek, 0.5 mile south of the Interstate 90 Enterprise Rest Area, 4 miles south of Lewiston.

Habitat: Rather heavily grazed cattle pasture, on the narrow valley bottomland between steep, 180-foot bluffs. Locally frequent along a small seepage-fed stream cutting into the silty alluvial terrace on the north side of the creek. Moist to wet silt and muck. Full sun. Stems variously aggregated into small clump-like groups or small, loose patches.
Associated Species: Associates include Carex hysteracina, C. stipata, Barbarea vulgaris, Ranunculus hispidus, Cardamine bulbosa, Poa pratensis.
