Frequent on extremely steep lower- to mid-slope of a 170-foot, north-facing bluff. Mesic "cold-slope" pine-hardwood forest dominated by Pinus strobus, Betula allegheniensis, Acer saccharum, and Quercus rubra. Understory of Ostrya virginiana and Acer saccharum. Deep silty-sand.
