Habitat: Very local on a small, low islet. Frequent in shallow pockets of coarse sand, gravel, and detritus over level to gently sloping granitic bedrock; at upper end of the wave-wash zone, ~2-4 feet above the lake (which is down ~12-16 inches from the early season high mark). Loose patches. Full sun.
