Rich fen adjacent to recent suburban development. Invasive typha common throughout. Moderate to dense cover of salix petiolaris with salix discolor less abundant. No species gradient observed in center of the wetland. Water at peat surface. Occasional sphagnum presence but mainly dominated by non sphagnum bryophytes and bare peat. Heavy deer browse observed on shrubs.
Common associates: Salix petiolaris, Sagittaria latifolia, Carex lasiocarpa subsp. americana, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Typha Ã-glauca, and Carex canescens.
