Habitat:
Old oxbow of the Cloquet River. Area in moderate to exceptional drought. The entire oxbow was dry. 1000s of plants emerging from river berm both on the river side and the oxbow side. Local community seems to separate along an elevation gradient with Eleocharis acicularis in lower areas, Torreyochloa pallida in higher areas and Sparganium emersum intermixed between.
