Habitat: In mesic white pine-hardwood forest on mid-slope of steep, 140ft, N-facing slope along bend in tributary; canpy dominated by Acer saccharum, Pinus strobus & Tilia americana. Silty soil. Associates include Orysopsis [sic] racemosa, Asarum canadense, Adiantum pedatum, Aralia racemosa, Viburnum rafienesquinum [sic].
