Habitat: In wet-mesic brush prairie, Salix bebbiana most common shrub, with other Salix spp., Betula glandulifera. Shrubs < 1.5m tall, 25-50 1/2 cover. Herbaceous layer dominated by Andropogon gerardii. Associated with Sorghastrum nutans, Sporobolus heterolepis, Schizachyrium scoparium, Solidago rigida, Thalictrum dasycarpum.
