Jack Pine Rocky Woodland. Associates: Pinus banksiana, Betula papyferia [sic], Vaccinium angustifolium, Comandra umbellata, Aster macrophyllus, Pteridium aquilinum, Melampyrum lineare, Oryzopsis pungens, Danthonia spicata; fine sandy loam about 4cm deep, some exposed bedrock.
