Habitat: Immature, mesic mixed oak forest. Canopy 100% cover, 10-20m hgt. Thick understory. Quercus rubra, Q. alba (30cm dbh) 40cm dbh wolf trees. Dark silt, at 1/3 below road, much organic humus decayed etc.
