Habitat: Old, semi-open apsen [sic]-birch-fir forest with P. virginiana, Amelanchier laevis, Corylus cornuta, etc.
Description: Top of ovary tomentose. Shru ~2 m tall; racemes compact and erect; leaves partially folded at anthesis. (Same shrub as LBG#5364).
