United States, Wisconsin, La Crosse, Mississippi River (Navigation Pool #8). Site 16, an outside bend in a backwater slough...Mile 691-702.5;Upper Mississippi National Wildlife Refuge
Habitat:
backwater slough, mixed with Phalaris, sedge meadow, and emergent species. During spring the area is effected by a direct current flow. Abundant at times sharing dominance with Polygonum amphibium, Urtica and Phalaris.
