Habitat: Black spruce swamp and wetland shrub complex adjacent to river. Wetland shrub swamp and edge of black spruce swamp with Alnus, Larix, Myrica, Acer rubrum, Ledum, Amelanchier, Equisetum sylvaticum and Sphagnum. Abundant & dominant in areas of this open shrub wetland.
