Habitat:
forming dominant cover i boggy poor fen. Wet, spongy peat. Full sun to partial shade of Picea mariana & Larix laricina. Continuous carpet of Sphagnum mosses. Associates include Eriophorum virginicum, Carex limosa, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Andromeda glaucophylla, Vaccinium oxycoccus, Drosera rotundifolia, Sarracenia purpurea, Menyanthes trifoliata.
