Habitat: Large poor fen on the north side of an unnamed lake dom. by Chamaedaphne calyculata and Carex lasiocarpa. This part of fen closer to lake more like open rich fen with a few muddy open pools with very loose mat, where Eleocharis was collected around edge. Other associates include Hypericum boreale, Cicuta bulbifera, Potamogeton gramineus, Juncus cf. nodosus, Bidens cernua, Glyceria canadensis.
