Habitat: in heavily grazed pasture. In partial shade of Ulmus americana 7 Acer negundo. Rolling terrain. Gravelly loam.
Description: One 5m tall, single-stemmed tree. No compound thorns observed. Several small saplings near base of tree. Another Crataegus (MDL1914) collected here as well.
