On a gentle north-facing slope ... Calcareous fen. In deep saturated peat, travertine near surface, dominated by Carex prairea and C. interior. PH 8.1, conductivity 700 micromhes. Associated with Parnassia glauca, Cladium mariscoides, Scleria verticillata.
