Habitat: Rare and local on the south shore. In wet area on broad, floating, sedge fen mat a few feet from the waters edge. In Sphagnum mosses. Full sun.
Associated Species: Vaccinium oxycoccus, V. macrocarpon, Chameadaphne calyculata, Kalmia polifolia, Dulichium arundinaceum, Carex lasiocarpe, C. limosa, Rhynchospora alba, Drosera rotundifolia, Sarracenia purpurea, Potentilla palustris, Scheuchzeria palustris, Lycopodiella inundata
