Habitat:
Floating mat of rich fen dominated by Carex lacustris. The muck here is at least 45 cm deep. Assoc. with Carex trichocarpa, Eupatorium maculatum, Aster umbellatus, Polygonum sagittatum, Lathyrus etc.
