Strongly-rolling forested moraine ... along the undeveloped north shore ... In shallow water (mostly less than 16 inches deep) along the shoreline. Sandy substrate with scattered rocks ... sometimes extending onto edge of upland in moist soil. Partially shaded by trees (including Betula papyrifera and Quercus ellipsoidalis) on the adjacent south-facing wooded slope.
