cedar swamp dominated by mature Thuja occidentalis. On mossy hummocks and around tree bases. Associates include Carex leptalea, C. brunnescens var. sphaerostachya, Coptis trifolia, Mitella nuda, Circaea alpina, Platanthera obtusata, Trientalis borealis.
