Latitude/Longitude: 45.829439 -94.335437 +-969m.

Habitat: On a fairly extensive gravel bar exposed by typical low, late summer flow. Substrate is gravel and cobbles up to 8 inches in diameter, though mostly <4 inches. Plants growing 2 - 12 inches above current water level. Full sun. Associated species include Cyperus squarrosus, Eleocharis acicularis, Veronica catenata, Amaranthus utberculatus, Polygonum lapathifolium.
