Habitat: along slight water drainage feature through large Black Spruce bog; in wet depressions in sturted peat. Partial shade of Alnus incana, Picea mariana & Larix laricina. Associates include Sparganium chlorocarpum, Carex paupercula, Chamaedaphne calyculata, ledum groenlandicum, Salix pedicellaris, S. pyrifolia, Potentilla palustris, Calamagrostis canadensis.
