In shrubby poor fen on west end of lake. In full sun to partial shade of Betula glandulifera, Alnus incana, and wildely scattered, stunted Larix laricina. Spongy saturated peat. In Sphagnum moss carptets ... Associated species include Carex lasiocarpa, C. interior, Eriophorum gracile, Thelypteris palustris, Calla palustris, Drosera rotundifolia, Lysimachia terrestris, Aster umbellatus, Solidago uliginosa, Triadenum fraseri, Potentilla palustris.
