Habitat: Eight acre kettle-hole bog (poor fen) in steeply-rolling terrain. Common in Sphagnum on floating mat. In full sun to partial shade of scattered Larix laricina & Betula glandulifera. Associates include Carex limosa, C. lasiocarpa, Triadenum fraseri, Menyanthes trifoliata, Calla palustris, Scheuchzeria palustris, Sagittaria latifolia, Spiraea tomentosa, Vaccinium macrocarpon, Andromeda glaucophylla.
