Habitat: Dry, sparsely wooded habitat dominated by Quercus macrocarpa and Q. velutina. Growing in dune sand. No other species of Rubus seen in this habitat.
Description: Duplicate specimen at ISC determined by Mark Widrlechner. Canes more or less erect, about 60 cm long.
