Habitat: large central zone of 10-acre poor fen. Continuous Sphagnum moss. Slightly quaky saturated peat. Full sun to partial shade of stunted Larix laricina and Picea mariana ... Associated species include Chamaedaphne calyculata, Ledum groenlandicum, Andromeda glaucophylla, C. canescens, C. lacustris, C. trisperma, Eriophorum spissum, E. chamissonis, E. angustifolium, Smilacina trifoliata.
