Associates include Bromus inermis, Andropogon gerardii, Agrostis stolonifera, Stipa spartea, Castilleja coccinea, Senecio pseudaureus, Pycnanthemum virginianum, krigia biflora, Polygala senega, Solidago ridiga. Prairie / wetland hayed annually.
