Habitat: Lacal, occasional around margins of small black ash seepage swamp and base of 120ft, east-facing bluffs along [river] at [lake]. Partial canopy of Fraxinus nigra & Ulmus americana. Associates include Symplocarpos foetidus, Campanula aparinoides, Scutellaria lateriflora, S. galericulata, Lycopus uniflorus, Galium asprellum, Myostis scorpoides, Cardamine pensylvanica, Carex hysteracina. Moist, organic soil.
