Latitude/Longitude: 45.380475 -93.168729 +-592m.

Habitat: Occurs in well drained sandy soil in full exposure to the sun, assoc. with Agropyron repens, Poa Pratensis, Carex houghtonii. Note fire scar[e]s on basal sheaths from a prescribed burn in spring 1974
