Habitat:
On the banks of the [river] ... on fairly steep, 30-foot, west-facing slope immediately above the river ... Heavily grazed cattle pasture. Coarse sandy and gravel substrate. Full sun. Associated species include Poa compressa, Verbascum thapsus, Centaurea biebersteinii, Equisetum hyemale, Artemisia absinthium, Euphorbia esula, E. glyptosperma.
