Habitat: Within a complex of islands, sandbars, and mudflats. Small island, elliptical in shape and approx. 30 m x 120 m with the long axis oriented WNW-ESE; water levels subject to constant fluctuation.
Associated Species: Eragrostic hypnoides, Lindernia dubia, Bidens cernua, Lythrum salicaria, Persicaria lapathifolia, Lemna cf. turionifera, Cyperus odoratus, Eleocharis cf. acicularis, Schoenoplectus tabermaemontani, Bacopa rotundifolia, Mimulus ringens, Sagittaria sp., and seedlings of Salix interior and Populus deltoides.
Notes: Locally rare, present in small scattered tufts.
