Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Richland, 2 miles NW of Blue River, floodplain of the Wisconsin River, along the channel (usually with flowing water) flowing into Garner Lake. T8N;R2W;SE1/4NW1/4 sect. 3

Habitat: Floodplain forest dominated by Acer saccharinum, with Ulmus americana, Betula nigra, Quercus bicolor, the understory herb layer sparse, muddy from recent immersion during high water.
Associated Species: Boehmeria cylindrica, Laportea canadensis, Pilea pumila.
Description: Plants mud-covered from recent high water. Inflorescences greenish white, straight, mostly erect.
Notes: Common in places in muddy understory.
