Habitat: Occurs in a beaver-impacted, Calamagrostis canadensis-dominated wet meadow native plant community. surface water pH 6.5 and depth 9 cm. 5% sphagnum moss cover with 20 cm tall hummocks. Full sunlight.
Associated Species: Alnus incana subsp. rugosa, Calla palustris, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Iris versicolor, Typha latifolia, cicuta bulbifera, Triadenum fraseri, Potentilla palustris, Carex canescens, Dulichium arundinaceum, Calamagraostis canadensis, Carex interior, Glyceria canadensis, Eriophorum angustifolium, and Scirpus atrocinctus.
Description: 90 cm tall fruiting specimen.
