Habitat: Steep incline surrounded by white pines. Well drained soil. Found growing out of an outcrop of stone.
Description: Small tree growing only to 12m high. It has a light grey bark with red fruits. Flower is an inferior ovary with 2-3 carpels. Leaves are alternate and compound with a serrated margin.
