Site with a few cm water above surface, surrounded by deeper-water emergent vegetation. Water level probably influenced by Lake Superior seiche. Probably alkaline from drainage of site of former cement factory.

Equisetum variegatum. Betula papyrifera, Larix laricina, Picea glauca, small Populus balsamifera, Gentiana andrewsii
