Habitat: along slight water drainage feature through large Black Spruce bog. Saturated peat. Continuous carpet of Sphagnum mosses. Partial shade of Picea mariana & Larix laricina. Associates include Chamaedaphne calyculata, Ledum groenlandicum, Kalmia polifolia, Betula glandulifera, Alnus incana, Vaccinium oxycoccus, Salix pedicellaris, Carex chordorrhiza, Smilacina trifoliata, Sparganium chlorocarpum, Potentilla palustris, Malaxis unifolia.
