Description: TREE to 22.88m in height, DBH 26.4cm, trunk height to foliage 17.53m, crown height 5.35m, crown width 3.15m, OUTER BARK rough, with lenticels, FISSURES vertical, horizontal, narrow, BARK black, dark brown, CAMBIUM dark brown, red, WOOD black, dark brown, brown, light brown, red, EXUDATE red, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: kapup ningi. Local uses: timber for house construction, used for construction of small tables and shelves.
