TREE to 25.7m in height, DBH 37.2cm, trunk height to foliage 18.7m, crown height 7m, crown width 6.8m, buttresses up to 1.1m, FISSURES vertical, BARK dark brown, CAMBIUM brown, WOOD black, dark brown, brown, EXUDATE red, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: kui kapangusing. Local uses: timber for house construction, used for construction of small huts.
