Description:
TREE to 21.74m in height, DBH 13.8cm, trunk height to foliage 17.4m, crown height 4.34m, crown width 3.63m, buttresses up to 0.5m, OUTER BARK smooth, with lenticels, CAMBIUM brown, white, WOOD white, EXUDATE absent, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: gulerum. Local uses: used for roofing in huts, leaves used for wrapping, timber for house construction, used for construction of canoes.
