CLIMBER to 49.7m in height, DBH 9cm, trunk height to foliage 26.05m, crown height 23.65m, crown width 16.55m, OUTER BARK smooth, rough, with lenticels, FISSURES horizontal, broad, BARK black, dark brown, white, grey, CAMBIUM light brown, green, WOOD brown, light brown, white, EXUDATE absent, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: klang klang simi. Local uses: used for tying firewood, used for wrapping smoked leaves, leaves used as compost for yams.
