Description: TREE to 41.55m in height, DBH 67.4cm, trunk height to foliage 23.75m, crown height 17.8m, crown width 16.7m, buttresses up to 1.1m, OUTER BARK with lenticels, FISSURES vertical, BARK brown, light brown, white, green, CAMBIUM brown, WOOD brown, light brown, EXUDATE absent, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: nimung. Local uses: used for construction of small huts, leaves are chewed with betel nut, saplings used for roofing.
