TREE to 11.17m in height, DBH 10.8cm, trunk height to foliage 6.39m, crown height 4.78m, crown width 5.46m, OUTER BARK rough, with lenticels, FISSURES broad, BARK black, dark brown, white, grey, CAMBIUM dark brown, brown, red, WOOD brown, light brown, red, EXUDATE red, from felled plot. Local name: kapup maku. Local uses: timber for house construction, used for construction of small huts and balconies, used for fencing.
