TREE to 10.67m in height, DBH 10.2cm, trunk height to foliage 2.87m, crown height 7.8m, crown width 4.05m, OUTER BARK rough, with lenticels, FISSURES vertical, broad, narrow, BARK black, dark brown, brown, light brown, grey, CAMBIUM dark brown, brown, red, WOOD dark brown, brown, light brown, yellow, EXUDATE absent, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: maksang maku. Local uses: timber for house construction, used for construction of small huts, porches, and balconies.
