TREE to 24.36m in height, DBH 30.9cm, trunk height to foliage 12.11m, crown height 12.25m, crown width 7.79m, buttresses up to 0.62m, OUTER BARK rough, flaky, with lenticels, FISSURES broad, BARK black, dark brown, brown, light brown, grey, CAMBIUM dark brown, brown, red, WOOD brown, light brown, red, EXUDATE absent, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: ang kubal. Local uses: timber for house construction, used for construction of small huts, bark used as poison for killing fish.
