TREE to 13.72m in height, DBH 6.9cm, trunk height to foliage 9.85m, crown height 3.87m, crown width 4.13m, OUTER BARK rough, with lenticels, FISSURES broad, BARK black, dark brown, brown, light brown, grey, CAMBIUM brown, light brown, red, WOOD brown, light brown, EXUDATE red, from felled plot. Local name: kapup maku. Local uses: timber for house construction, used for construction of small huts and balconies, used for fencing.
