TREE to 40.25m in height, DBH 64cm, trunk height to foliage 22.35m, crown height 17.9m, crown width 12.49m, buttresses up to 2.38m, OUTER BARK flaky, with lenticels, FISSURES vertical, broad, narrow, BARK black, dark brown, brown, light brown, grey, CAMBIUM light brown, red, WOOD dark brown, brown, light brown, EXUDATE absent, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: maksan. Local uses: timber for house construction, used for fencing.
